Letting go

Im the youngest child my parents had and because im the "baby" they look at me like im only around 10 years old. im 17 almost 18. i plan on moving out in a year. a guy i know doesnt know how old i am and he assumes im around 14 because i hang out with my cousins who are 14 and we have fun. this guy is younger than me. anyways. so my parents dont let me do so much becuase they feel i shouldnt be that old yet. it sucks being the youngest.

No matter what your birth order is, everybodys got it rough for different reasons. I'm the oldest, and I sometimes wish I was the youngest.

I'm the oldest of 3 and my mum is very over protective of me and treats me like a 13yr old (I'm 18) but yet with the middle brother who's 16, everyone treats him as if he is the 18yr old. Explain that.

I can relate to you. I'm the youngest, and my sisters have all moved out so all attention is on me. O well, i'm going to be gone soon, Yesterday was the last day of high school ever for me. I've been waiting for this for a long time.

anyway i think part of the problem is parents realize they will never have another chance to go through raising another child and become clingy.
