The rebel flag? I don't know what the rebel flag is. But if it has a "the" infront of in, then we shouldn't use it as it's probably already been used. We need something brand new!

hmm i think that sounds like a good idea, like the pen is mighter than the sword, but it might still be a good idea to keep a sword handy. yeah, i kinda like that. a scroll with a famous or really good poem on it, and a sword going through it. maybe more could be added to that..

While it does sound mighy and very strong, it kinda feels like we're saying we're gonna slice open poetry like a can-opener through that container of tuna that's been sitting on the top shelf for about three years and you discovered one day while hunting through the pantry because you were so hungry you thought you were gonna shrivel up into a little ball and disappear because your tummy digested itself and the rest of you.

HA! That is only the best analogy EVER! Or... is it an analogy? I always get those logy's mixed up. ^_^

I think that each week we should have one member who we will spotlight. It should be highly encouraged for the members of the newbie club to visit this person's profile page and check out one of their poems and vote and comment on it.

If this is a popular idea, we'll put it into effect this coming monday.

Members of the Newbie Club! I hereby decree that we will begin a new tradition! Each week a new member will be named and each member is encouraged to go to their page and rate and comment on one poem of their choice. I will most happily take on the responsibility of naming the person of the week.

One thing that needs to be established, Sarah was only in charge because nobody else volunteereed and she was doing a good job of it, she is the most neutral of all of us. Another thing, it was both her and my idea to start this, so no matter what number you seem to think you are, I am still second in command, altough I don't think there should be command, I would gladly take over temporarily to make sure I could uphold the club's best interest.

*falls over from the total amount of posts* Wow! Yay for us! We are growing! Welcome to all the Newbies who have joined whilst I was away. You are most welcome in our small (but hopefully growing) community.

I'm super sorry about just disappearing! I had to go on a school trip for about two weeks, but I'm back now and grovelling for forgiveness! Please forgive me! Pleeeaaasssseeee!!

About the apparent power struggle-- Um, we're just a club. Let's try not to make this an unpleasant place to be, because that's the last thing I want.

My Ideal: A warm and friendly place for the newbies of P&Q where questions can be asked/answered.

So, let's just shut down the entire title system, okay? There are no numbers. There are no leaders. We are all equal here, newbie or oldbie! I am, however, taking over the Poet of the Week feature because I don't want it to become a mess. I will choose one person from the club a week to feature and, as I've said before, it is highly recommended that each member go read at least one poem and rate and comment on it. There is no way to enforce this, though, so I will simply remind you that you get what you give.

Again, sorry that I've been gone! Promote the club, spread the word! We always want more members. Oh, and pardon my spelling errors. I'm too lazy to check the entire post.

I also want to put out there that I do hope people went to see Laura and rate/comment one of her poems-- I did!
