It's personal. Myself and I.

Guided hand paint the fallen darkness
Tucked deep within the one closed eye
Take fingers cut turning a mirror back
Til the final sand grain has melted black

Prayers be not recited onto the deaf ear
While awake does the slumber fade off
Drought settled in the mind ashen grey
Leftover matter of his lit forest fire
