Does anyone know what the point of that function is? Dont get me wrong I love it, I just dont understand why they made it in the first place.

I think it's made as a way so that registered poets who enter this site, will message others when they are either online or have something good to say...

It made it alot easier for the contest holders to get a hold of the contestants if they haven't got ther poem in. lol :P

Please report messages like these, we don't want these problems to get out of hand... and definitely don't reply to them in the same manner with which they addressed you.

Because I'll tell you what, I was harassed, more like racially abused by one member, who although knew my identity as in where I came from and all, he used that to insult me...Sad!

But then he apologized and he started making silly jokes, to make me forget about it...But I started laughing telling him...You cannot erase the past "my man"...I already reported you...Which I did, and right now I bet he's stewing in his own soup...

For me, the PM attribute has allowed others who enjoy my work to open a dialog about it. For me, this is making new friends. For they who are abusive of that or you, there is a complaint button there too if you are offended. If such posts are just a pain in the tail though, don't respond and they will just go away eventually when they do not arouse the conflict from you that gratifies their disturbed inner need for that.

I also think that when you make new friends here, not everything you say to them you will want posted either...

(I always seemtobreak the threads too Ashleigh...)
