What's with 'type of poem' prejudice?

I hate people always saying 'No nature poems' or 'No war poems', etc. I mean, you can't judge a poem by the section it's in! A lot of my poems are in the nature section but have little to do with nature or only a subliminal attatchment to nature, but people don't read them because they're in that section.

Anyone ever heard the saying, you can't judge a book by it's cover?
