A moderator moderates the thread so that everyone has a moderating chance at happyness...

Or should I say "The pursuit of Happyness"

Moderators tend to practice, "Do what I say, not what I do." They are free to do whatever they please, whenever they please, breaking Rules & Guidelines left and right. Abuse of power? Perhaps, my friend, perhaps...

It is not uncommon to read a Moderator complaining about how hard, time consuming, and lonely it is, doing their jobs. BUT, more than a few good people would jump to replace their positions in an instant. Will a Moderator ever give up his or her power for another member? Now that's just funny.

I have noticed, in the past year, Moderators have become much more fair. In debates, I no longer see a Moderator who is losing, suddenly exclaim, "DO I NEED TO GIVE YOU A PENALTY POINT?" So that's good.

I used to hate Mods, but I've begun to warm up to the majority. I need to if I want to be one someday, right? Ha!
