My First Ever Contest- Please try it.

This is my first contest, so bare with me if it sucks.
It's a bit of a challenge, so I hope you like them.

The challenge is, you have to write about a girl/ boy that is slowly dieing inside, from what if's, and doubt. They're in a loving relationship, but affraid there best friend [Who can be a girl or guy] is attempting to steel the one person that has made there life seem possible too live. But now there being consumed by this fear, that they will loose they're only chance for happiness. Because of the betrayal of there friend, that can throw them back into the memories of there dark past.

Wow, this is really detailed, i will try so please enter me in.

Fearful Hunger

This hurts, the burning inside
the dark fighting against the light
my questions denying the truth
confused about what's right

love, such a simple thing
i thought. but now i do not understand
isn't love happy? full of smiles and sunshine?
my doubts dragging me in like quicksand

we used to laugh, to talk about him and life
just us, being what we were supposed to be
but feverishly worrying about what could happen
can turn into a burning jealousy

distancing myself from her
my friend, making her cry
mistrusting him, is this happiness?
when i fall, i'm no longer able to fly

more dark than light even in my dreams
worrying that she would take him
how on earth could i not realize
his love for me went deeper than skin

this swirling of color, confusing my thoughts
sinking farther into this death
causing my own pain doesn't help tolerate it
this guilt with every breath

hungry for what i once had
trapped in my own maze of glass
frozen with my own fear
because i can't turn back to the past

like slashes of darkness these festering wounds
no one reaches out to hold me, no words do i hear
in this bubble of silence that smothers me
no one can see the falling tears

Tell Me Why

I've been looking for somebody,
To stop this pain inside.
It seems that I have found him,
And I finally feel alright.

He understands my worries,
And he lifts me when I'm low.
He tries to be there for me,
And through him, I can grow.

My whole life seemed to bust,
Until our eyes did meet.
From that, I lost your trust,
But love was a gain for me.

I should have told my daring,
Secret to you in advance.
He was so sweet and caring,
I thought I'd have a chance.

But the truth started calling,
The moment he said yes.
You found out about me falling,
And I fear we aren't bests.

The one's submitted so far, are really good. Im gonna have trouble deciding.

***Funeral in an Asylum
Got a little carried away with the "Falling apart" bit. It's pretty hard to understand...but I can promise you it's following the contest format.***

Delapidating prison,
needle thin incision;
bitter burning eclipse of bleeding eyes,
staining a sea of nothing,
with cold vomit and crimson concrete.

Lacerated,
the many days into the wall.
Moon's illumination,
scalpel from the smiling sky,
slowly sinking into my skull; so much humiliation,
this is the fairytale where I can't cry.

Carving morbid clocks
into skinclothed padded blocks,
repeatedly raped by these Hellish tick-tocks.

Shovel in hand,
licking up puddles of tear-stained sand,
not my tongue,
but breathing like pollution into the remaining lung.
Faded shadows, almost nothing,
holding my spine as I
drag my veins along the edges of a screaming stop sign.

Here's her lips,
still tasting like metaphorical vomit,
stitch them as tattoos unto my own,
and I'll decay without my bones;
even in psychological suicide we make each other smile.

This is something like a funeral,
six and a half foot deep hypodermic pit...
...warped by the apathy of an asylum...
....even insanity makes love to scum.

Sorry about that, I got your messages I`ve just been really busy and stressed out with personal stuff...I can write it now and get it in later tonight.

The Darkest Hours

She gives me a condescending smile, lies to me;
Tells me that they`re just friends, not meant to be --
But when their backs are turned, I can hear them talk;
And he puts down his guard as they begin to walk.

He tells me he loves me, day in and day out;
But in my fabricated heart, there is still doubt;
He`s beautiful, with a heart plated in gold;
And the lines he uses will never get old.

He caught me in my darkest hours, held me tight;
Called me in the early hours to make sure I was alright,
But I`m slipping from his grasp, losing my sanity;
Because maybe this happy-ever-after fairy tale isn`t for me.

She has her past that`s so full of manipulative tricks --
Empty promises and broken hearts that can`t be fixed,
There`s a collage of tortured faces from her fun and games,
But to her, they`re just a bunch of needless names.

And the tide is turning, it`s sweeping me under her spell;
I know her games inside out, I know her just a little to well,
The bottle is calling my name, it`s pulling me in now;
And I`m dying from the inside out, there`s sweat on my brow --

Dancing in angst, the moonlight silhouettes me on the wall;
And tonight, there isn`t anyone around to catch me when I fall;
Slipping back to the alcohol and drugs, the blood drips in the sink;
I`m letting myself go, I`m not afraid to fall off of the brink.

Downfall Caused by Doubt

Doubt,
Tis a curious thought,
It flickers in my mind.
As I pick each petal,
Alternating between two lines...
Does she really like me,
Or does she not.
I hope to god she does.

Doubt,
Yes I have my doubts,
Does she like him...
My best friend.
Who, I know likes her,
Why did he tell me that,
Was it just to torture me,
Because that is what' s happening.

Doubt,
I have much but,
I' m lacking in trust,
Will he betray I
When he knows,
How much she means to me,
How I wouldn' t live without her.

Doubt,
In my friend,
Will undoubtingly,
Be our downfall.
And Doubt,
In my relationship,
Will be its end.

But I would like to thank you all for paticipating in my first contest, and I hope it wasn't to awful.
