New Years Resolution

I was just wondering if anyone has a new years resolution. I think a good one would be... stop cutting, or quit smoking, you get the point...

Um... New Years Resolution... live a safe year, and continue working well in school. That's bout it, I don't cut nor smoke so those don't apply for me. Do you have one?

The only thing I have come up with is to quit wasting my time. I am almost twenty and I don't think I have accomplished much of anything in life. The only progression I've had is getting my apartment, although I've had it for almost a year and a half...

Hmm.. my new years resolution(s) are to leave the past in the past and to continue doing well in my schooling.

Stop worrying about what other people think of me.

Stop writing?????? Bob you can't stop writing who will then entertain me with such beautiful words???
anyways my new years resolution would to be quite smoking....it's a nasty discusting habit that will most likely result in me getting severly sick in my older years so it's time to ditch the habit and find a new healthy one!

Bob, as a social worker myself, I have to say that you can still be working with children and the developmentally disabled and still be writing. Maybe not all the time, maybe not when you want to do so, but don't end it. Your voice, your insights, are valuable things to both the world at large through your writings, and those you might serve.

As to my own New Year's resolution, I suppose it would be to live well and wisely. And to learn to follow the guidings of my soul with more consistence.

To learn to trust people, not just people you know you can never meet but real people

oooah okay..lol i have another one..teehee.
okay my other one is to get into university.....I will be the youngest person to graduate from my school. this year is going to be different because i will be in the real world so to speak. My plan is to get into my bachalor of science in nursing to become a registered nurse and gradually take night courses to become a a doctor in intensive care. This year is my year of planning and taking action.

Another thing i want to accomplished is to get a set of wheels but not just any....I will start saving every penny i earn to buy a used car...i will then fix it up on my own accord and customize it to my own liking...i guess having a step father as a mechanic is a bonus because i learned the whole car scene at an early age. Also i have a need for responsiblity all the time...so I will talk my mom into letting me buy my OWN dog with my OWN money...it will be mine to look after and care for...i miss having a dog around..**tear**

And finally I will seize every opportunity to get ahead in my life....I will try my absloute hardest to stay positive threw the worst of all times...keep my faith strong and strive to the absloute best until i feel i have done i can do to fufill my yearly dreams...

ahahah i am sure you are aware...i love animals ahaha i have 2 fat cats...best little sqirts in the world...i LOVE em but they are getting really old...11&14

Adrienne: curiosity only killed certain cats, and usually only because someone had something to hide. If you don't have anything to hide, you don't mind someone being curious. ;)

Besides... curiosity can lead to some fascinating and wonderful things if you follow where the wonder goes.

Hmm... maybe that's another resolution: to pursue (and let in) more wonder.

I don't have any New Year's resolutions because I always end up disappointing myself, heh.
