She Talks to Rainbows

The rain, like glitter, it sparkles the ground,
As the world is void of motion or sound.
The roads are naked, trees are bare;
No single soul to even care.

When she looks up, the sky is bright,
Yet there's no stars; it is not night.
No one to run to - a sister? A mother?
It's that shining arc which offers the colour.

An illusory hope, it gives her back life.
She can rip up the heartache, stomp on the strife.
She begins to do something she's not done in a while:
Looks up at the rainbow and starts to smile.

I wanted everything, please.

Feels Like Fire, please :]

Feels Like Fire

Pick up the pieces from your hideous damage --
Give me back my heart and go down with the bridge,
I`m throwing kerosene, the confetti to celebrate the ending --
Because everything you say to me is so condescending.

Through your fake smile it`s not hard to see you pretend,
You`re just about as fake as a child`s imaginary friend;
And through my gritted teeth I mutter out sweet poetry --
Reminiscing the time when you turned around on me.

And I see you standing there with all the beautiful strangers,
But I can still detect that you wish it was me and not her,
So you can pretend that a spine isn`t something you lack --
Turn around on me again and I`ll pretend to stab you in the back.

I`m blasting that tape we made a few summers ago,
Looking to a picture of a boy that I used to know --
Feel the heat around the edges caving in around your heart;
I bet it feels like fire, and you can count on it ripping you apart.

Can i have 'borrowed time'
i've never entered a contest before... i'm not entirely sure what to do... but i'll give it a shot!

All through the night

The endless night has bound me now,
Before the sun i hide and cower,
I creep through your life,
But I carry no knife.

I watch you from a distance,
Again and again and again,
For me its such a blissful time,
For you it is just shame.

You will never find me,
how i found you.

I am your stalker,
I am the noise you cant recall,
I am the creeper,
I will make you fall.

I Wanted Everything

Knowing that it's become second nature
Hiding the deviousness in my eyes
Seems greed has got a hold on me
For now I'm living in disguise

Recalling when those words were spoken
When your world came crashing down
When you thought those words were truthful
Tears slipped down without a single sound

Unknowingly played right into my hands
Never did anything of which she was accused
It's true that she loved you without a doubt
Our accusations left her completely bruised

Never did I mean to hurt you
It's just that I didn't understand
Why you chose her instead of me
Why she got to hold your hands

Couldn't think of any other way
To get you to finally notice me
Had to split you both apart
For I had to set you free

Only now, my plan's backfired
You've found out what I'm all about
Now it seems you both detest me
Didn't think you'd figure it out

Spent many euphoric weeks together
Living in such beautiful shiny bliss
Only then you found out what I'd done
And told me that I'd had my last kiss

Went from nothing to everything
Then back to nothing once more
Now we're no longer even friends
Didn't know that I could feel this low

So now I'll apologize for what I did
Know now it was really quite wrong
I'm sorry that I told spiteful lies
When you trusted me all along

Just so I could get my own way
Was content to watch you fall
Because I wanted everything
Now left with nothing at all.

Ashes & Wine

The perfect sound of her untamed violin
Sinking into the night's most direful silence,
A music meant to pierce the deepest whim,
Compositions to awake an unleashed vengeance...

The pure child playing couldn't be another...
But an innocent angel,with hair pinned butterflies,
Black curls that seemed to hide a chimeric water
That reflected in her cold blue aggrieved eyes...

A blast of wind has sent the music far and wide
And he, the blood-curdling creature of the shadows
Had felt the thrill within his heart long time denied;
The emotions flowed like a garden of echoes...

His white fangs reflected the pale moon light,
His immortality was his addictive burden...
But the violin choruses he heard were so bright
That attracted him to the house by music poisoned...

A couple of hours to dawn,he entered the mansion...
Charmed by the girl's music,entwined in her eyes,
The vampire listened and smiled with passion..
He had no choice but leave as he felt the sunrise...

The girl just couldn't let him go astray
And played the most grievous and cruel song,
As the vampire's blood tears couldn't fade away...
Memories about his human life,melancholy felt so strong..

Immortality,the loneliness he had locked within his soul
Was ended, as he left himself prey to the morning sun
Stricken by an appallingly divine music written is his eyeholes...
Ashes to ashes for the vampire who felt undone...

His remnants are still impregnated in her heart
As the cruel girl plays her hell raising violin
While she pours wine on the ashes of her sweetheart
To reminisce the blood he drank to be his sin...

The blazing sun upon the sky sent freezing rays
Within my heart already coated with sore grays;
The winter wind blew cold - such mournful symphony,
And even Heaven's angels mourned your memory...

Once beautiful sapphire sky now painted black,
Clothes impregnated with rot instead of lilac,
Tears too insignificant to reveal the pain
That bloomed alike thorned roses in my heart again...

As I looked up, I saw your spirit float away -
"Oh God, please, why can't she stay just another day?"
But Your answer was mute, blocked by my sordid grief
Causing my weakened mind to drown in disbelief...

Snowflakes falling gently upon my jaded face,
Awaiting lonely for the warmth of your embrace,
Knowing that some day I'll meet you behind the sun
Because that's where God has hidden Heaven's garden...

Birthday cake, ten candles burn
Still so young, so much to learn
He missed school again today,
Has anyone noticed he’s away?

Kids outside, play in the sun
Running, laughing, having fun
He watches through the window pane
One hand on glass, one holds a cane

One week the doctors said he had
Kidney failure, the news is bad
But Mother’s organs are a match
O.R. is booked, surgeons dispatch

The operation’s fairly swift
An extra month, a blessed gift
Although his life is almost gone
The mask he wares is brave and strong

One last movie, one last game,
Days in hospital, always the same
One last chance to say goodbye
He knows his spirit, soon will fly

Parents weeping by his side
Pain so intense, they cannot hide
Unfair, the loss of one so young,
A child who’s life had just begun

Pallid, weak, and close to death
He whispers with his dying breath
‘Mother, father, you will be fine,
Thank you for this borrowed time’

2 titles left, surprisingly the 2 I considered more challenging and interesting lol

Well it appears that no one wants to attempt the last 2 so I will have results up by tomorrow.
