I need help

My friend was dateing this guy rite but he stole a fone from a girl at skool and got suspended for 3 weeks she got in trouble becuz she knew he had the fone but dint tell nyone...... now that she has dumped him she wants me to date him, he is a good mate of mine and even though he stole the fone i still have feelings for him.... all my other mates hate him n think his bad for me but they say that about everyguy i date
