Hello there. I would like a higher overall rating so in order to do this I don't just need one poem with a bunch of votes but even some of my worst poems with some votes. Please go through my poems and anything less than 5 votes check it out. Some of them may not be that great but on the other hand you may enjoy them very much. |

Why would you care about your rating? the voting system is corrupt, 99% of the time a poem never gets what it is due anyway, be it a 1 or 5. wouldn't you rather have helpful comments to help you improve your writing than a random vote that means nothing? i know i would. |

Now how would it be a random vote? A bunch of my stuff isn't being looked at so I'm simply asking others to check it out and tell me what they think of it. They have a rating for a reason. If people really didn't care about ratings and just comments then there wouldn't be a rating system and people wouldn't specifically ask others to rate their work. I want my stuff to be looked at that's all. I'm not telling people to add me to their favorites, I'm not saying cover things in sugar and give me good ratings. I just simply want people to read some of my neglected stuff. Is that really so bad? They have ratings for movies and everything else. I just want to see what people think overall of my work. I hope I cleared things up. |

Actually [xXx SeCrEt WiSh xXx] I care more about votes then comments... a comment is just.. a comment. And people can lie and say they liked it when the didn't. I write for myself no one else, so if people have bad things to say about my poems, I could care less. But votes mean so much more cause you can see what someone thought of it honestly and if you have a higher rating on a poem more people will look at it. |

Well thank you. :) And I agree with you. If I honestly don't like a poem (and someone hasn't told me to comment it) then I will be more likely to vote on it than to comment it. I've noticed in my less loved (down rated) poems that there are far more votes than comments on why they didn't like the poem. Sometimes people can be hurtful when commenting on why they didn't like it. Even when they don't mean to be if they honestly don't think they can say it in a kind enough way then I would rather have a rating than a comment of nastiness. Now if people can sort out their thoughts and reasons in a manor that's logical and polite (maybe even saying sorry at the end if they felt it was a tad mean) then I would be more than happy to read about why someone didn't appreciate my work. |

Alright I'm going back to check your guy's poems out. Let me know if you think I didn't do the right amount. I'm just sort of going with the flow and not counting. I'll probably end up doing a bunch of extras but hey that's all good right? :) |
