So I like Blissful Torture's idea of letting others use my title for their own poem. I want to see what you can come up with.
There will be 2 Rounds. 20 can join this round, but only ten will move on to round two. Then the final three will be decided.

Here are the rules:
No cussing (no hell, or damn either!)
No religion (even if you're just saying he's going to heaven or something...because that's still according to YOUR belief)
No sexuality. NONE!
No cutting, suicide, or murder.
One poem per poet, two poets per title.
MUST RESERVE!!!

As a hint, I've been in a sad poem mood, or a sad love poem mood. And I prefer RHYME!

You can write non-rhyming as I do too, but it's just that I tend to prefer the rhymes so I gave you the heads up. As to Hatori, lol, i have no idea if that's correct in french or not, but I wouldn't suggest writing it in french in the poem seeing as I'm not fluent in that language! LOL!

Glaring morosely at the walls
Bitter tears appearing on these cheeks
Used to be content, so euphoric
Now this heart constantly weeps

Every night when laying in your arms
Softly whispering in my ear, "love you,"
Now every single second I'm wondering
Do you say the same words to her to?

It's true you've finally been caught
Now know of your lies and cheating ways
Not sure that I'm strong enough to cope
Now I think we should call it a day

You've been stringing me along all this time
Now I'm waiting for you to come back home
Worked up the courage to confront you
Trying to convince myself, I'm better of alone

Strolling through the door hours later
As the "I missed you," lie spills from your lips
Staring into your coffee brown eyes
Losing focus, I'm slowly starting to slip

As you lean in close for a hug
Smelling her perfume on your skin
Anger claws his way into my soul
Rage and misery tearing at me within

Asking you where you've been

Melting through my skin,
Sinking to the bone,

Tear stained sheets and restless nights,

How now you don't belong.

Cast out in the world alone,
Where tragic rhythms jive,
Where fire eats the night away,
Afraid you won't survive.

You've felt the flames lick your skin,
But never quite like this,
Love has thrown you on the coals,

A den of blatant misery,
Where sad songs come to life,
Trapped inside your twisted mind,
Cutting like a knife.

deeping created sin.

With words that fail to complete my mind,
I find it so much easier to be able to find..

Everytime I cry

As each godforsaken tear
rolls down my face
only leaving behind
a bloody trace
these words i cannot say
fall from my tongue
memories of how
life is young.

Because everytime i cry
you'd smile at me
when i longed to fly
you'd tell me i'm free
but now there's nothing left
an empty hole
no warmth engulfs me now
the world is cold

my hands reach out to touch
a you that no longer is
you gave me a little hope
but not enough to live
i wish i could remember
the way your eyes could see
the way they would pierce through everything
and finally found me

with you, i learned to smile
with you i learned to laugh
but now you're gone forever
my happiness has past
everytime i cry
i look up at the stars
searching for you up there
wondering if you see me too, wherever you are

i don't remember how to smile
but maybe i will try
because that's the gift you gave me
everytime i'd cry
maybe i can save someone
just like you did me
because when it's all done and over
with you, i can be free.

Amnesia walked through stoned halls,
releasing drum beats and disguised pain.

A trickle of tear glosses my skin;
The rain outside has started.
It flows so strong; I cannot stop,
I've been left so broken hearted.

I cannot help but scream out loud;
The thunder has surely began.
This boy that I once loved so strong,
He took my heart and ran.

I lie in bed, and refuse to move;
The skies above are grey.
The storm is slowly moving,
Yet my pain won't go away.

I'm trying to go on, being strong,
But this boy took what was mine.
I've lost my heart, but I'll get it back,
And once again the sun will shine.

So lonely
this coldness, it burns
like fire in my soul
yet freezing over my heart.

You hurt me
I cannot see, this film of broken innocence
shading my eyes from the nightmare
the horrible dream of reality

A puzzle
a mismatch of black and white
no color is left in my world
a world cold and clear as ice

Like mirrors
with every turn I see myself
but it's just the me i used to know
not the skeleton that's left, the memory haunting me.

Whispers of heartache
like silent cries of longing
i only realized that they come from me
the one you left behind

Yes, you left me
abandoned on the shadow of a road
eternal solitude as i watched your car drive
away from me, yet it took me with you.

I walk alone
trembling in this vast emptiness
no longer smiling on the inside
for I have no one to keep me warm

Oh man, this is gonna be intense now lol

I got loads of time tonight to write,
so I`ll try to get some done.
