What should I do?

Okay.. there is this guy named Tyler that started going to my school the day after me and my ex-boyfriend Ray broke up. At first he didn't show any interest in me, but we hung out at the fair.. he asked me to hold hands with him, he decided the girl I thought he liked for me, and we hugged a lot and went on rides together. Now everytime we see each other at school, we can't help but hug each other for like 5 minutes and just talk. I always am already late to my classes because we just talk to each other forever.

Well.. there's a problem. That girl I thought he liked, named Heather, won't leave him alone. She knows that he likes me and not her, but she won't give up. Today at our homecoming ceremony, he sat right beside me and Heather saw us so she sat right behind him. Everytime he tried to talk with me, she'd mess with him so he'd pay attention to her. Tyler started scooting me over with his butt, just for fun, and Heather kicked him as hard as she could in the back. She starts to hang all over him whenever we try to speak and grab him in certain areas O.o He doesn't want to tell her off because he doesn't want to be rude to a girl, but she won't stay away...

What should I do? He told me that he likes me and I told him that I liked him too. We're going to a football game and dance together tonight and hopefully he asks me out. I really want him too, but he might not =( You know? I would but I don't think I can.. I have never asked out a guy before in my life. I really want him as my boyfriend though!! Heather might leave him alone then if he has a girlfriend. Everyone thinks we're dating anyways and we've gotten in trouble for PDA (Public Display of Affection) a few times.

So, any advice? I dunno what to do.. *Sighs* Guys are so complicated!

Okay 1st thing to tell you ... of you like him and he likes you don't let any thing get in the way ... like ya that stupid chick ...
second if he can't tell her off you should tell her off.. not in a mean way at 1st just tell her like this "dude, understand this he dosen't like you.. get over it .. he likes me and thats thats " and walk away ... thats it and if she comes back at you with something to say that isn't nice then just go at her tell her to her face that he dosen't like her and shit ..
i know this one chick like that trying fuck uop my friends relitionship with her boyfriend ..
but ya any way ... and don't ask him out becuase i learned the hard way they get freaked out by that and will say no ... wait for him to ask you .. and if you like him that much then just waut for him let him have time to ask you .. thats what i'm doing with my crush he just got out of a 5 mounth reslitionship wit this one chick so ya just wait for hi mand don't push him and don't an\onyy him .. but it sounds like you don't do that ... oh and ya if you don't tlak you time and let him go at his past he will get over you like that .. it happend to me .. not fun and not nice .. but ya

Ignore her. Seriously, she's probably really freakin' annoying, but once she realizes that neither you nor him are going to pay her any attention, she'll hopefully get bored. I really don't think it's your place to tell her off. He could ask her nicely to back off a little bit, but if he doesn't want to then there's really nothing you can do.

Well.. if Heather didn't know that her and Tyler wouldn't happen before.. she knows now =) We were together during the entire game and dance and we had so much fun!! We were driving around town with his cousin and his girlfriend and they were in the front and we were smushed in the back of the car.. but we were holding hands and he kept tickling me and trying to get me to laugh. Finally he pulled me onto him and asked if I would go out with him.. I said yes!! I was so friggin happy.. he kissed me on the lips too =D Yay!!!

Him and Heather didn't talk once. She realized that me and Tyler wouldn't get seperated so she moved on to the next guy.. wow =/ I will bad for whoever she wants next.
