Cocaine

Your views on cocaine. im curious.

Same as with all drugs, all eforts needed to got them out of the world,
altough it's not likely to happen,

I'm scared to even respond to this, due to the fact that i may ramble on for days on end....
cocaine is a life killer..love murderer...
and the sure destroyer of all dreams....

Cocaine is a drug. Therefore it's bad, so Duncan tought us select few in the third grade with puppet shows.
Simple as that.

I've never tried any drugs...just tried to sniff stuff...(I was always curious about what getting high felt like) But everyone says its not a good idea to do drugs...

I agree Cocaine is a horrible drug...but i would be a hypocrit to say things about it. I was an addict to drugs and pills...i've been clean for almost 3 months from everything...but i mean, once i started doing drugs it took FOREVER for me to quit...nothing was helping me...all i wanted was to get high...it helped me get through life without pain but when i tried killing myself the institution i was in said if i continued w/ what i was doing i'd be dead b4 i was 25...im 15 almost 16...its scary but its a choice, i suggest if you feel like you wanna try it, don't...it ruines your life...trust me.

Cocaine is great if you are looking to throw your life, family, friends and self respect away.

I've tried it a couple times, it was cool but kind of sucks because the high is so short. Thats how it gets you. it didn't destroy my life, mess me up, it was just an experience and I really have no desire to do it again.

Drugs = neutral

Drugs + addictive personality/uneducated person = bad

Cocaine is BAD. it destroys everything you know love and want. your dreams will swirl down the drain. and fast. do you really want to look like a washed out old hag? i once knew somebody hooked on cocaine. she tried to assualt me with a knife over a trivial dispute she was that out of it. and when i got her arrested she tried blaming it on the drug. but the drug didn't approach her. she approached the drug. in short, cocaine will mess you and your life up completely.

Bad or misinformation about cocaine or drug abuse can and will kill you...do not take this subject lightly, this is not a public service announcement, this is an attempt, to possibly save someone's life!

Drugs are a lot harder than you think to get rid of once you start. Trust me. There are so many other ways to be happy without trying to get high (or drunk) for a few hours.

Typically, people who do drugs are trying to get away from a bad situation or forget something painful. Actually, writing what you feel or talking to someone is a good way to get that out of your system, like this site.

Its one the three no-no's in my book.

Im guilty of trying a lot of drugs that I regret doing, I wouldn't want to add cocaine to that list.

Not only is it supposingly addicting, I've been around a couple of people who've been on it, not exactly the most fun people to be around. They constantly move about the room, trying to find stuff to do and to be honest its annoying as hell to try to talk to someone who feels like jogging around the block. Not the type of people to call friends.

Even while not actively on the drug, people who try tend to change mentally. My cousin tried it, and to be honest, I can't stand to be around him anymore, even though he tried it once. He went from being a mellow, understandable man to a restless, grumpy fool and I just cant handle that.

Some drugs I can understand doing under controlled conditions and with extreme care, cocaine is not one of those drugs.

I'm not suggesting its okay to do any sort of drug by any means, but certain ones can be utilized for a purpose. I disagree with using drugs at a party for recreation. However, I am guilty of using drugs to inspire hallucinations and dementia for writing and spiritual purposes in the past. Definately not the wisest thing I ever did, even if it did serve a purpose.

^ great assumption. no, for your information, i asked because a. i was curious on peoples opinions, b. i have quite a few friends who do cocaine and c. i have a school report to do on it. so there, thats your reason.
so before you try to insinuate things about me... at least have something to back it up.

the ancient aztecs considered cocaine a gift from the gods... from what i hear, the completely pure form [cut with nothing] isn't actually bad for you, but the things its cut with now [ajax, hydros, ect] it actually the harmful part. correct me if im wrong, though.

oh, and before you make any more assumptions.. just because my friends do it does NOT mean i do. thanks.

Alright, anyone who is not an addict cannot possibly relate to another addict...period, you can pretend to empathize but thats the extent of it, tyring it once and saying it gets you away from your problems is a crock of shit!, it goes so much further than that, if you are doing a shool report on it, get off this thread and do some true investigation. #1 dont watch that stoopid tv show intervention, that is a staged meladrama , that is crap, if you really want to know what it's about, find someone thats actually faced those horror's and is fortunate enough to have lived through it, go to a rehab facility, talk to a recovering addict, not someone, who snorting a line of cocaine and thinks they are an expert, because they have no idea what they are talking about.....do the research, and find the the truth, the demographics will astound you, from doctors, to dope dealers, to everywalk of life inbetween,, addidction is a disease and does not discriminate....like i said, if you really want to know more about it, this is NOT the place to find out info about it...but thats just my opinion, and who am i? nobody i guess...i'm just someone who knows a whole lot about this subject.....

As i said.. the report isn't the only reason i posted this... i wanted opinions.. and so, let me ask, how do you know a whole lot about this subject? i sure hope its not from doing it, because then you would have contradicted yourself.. "not someone, who snorting a line of cocaine and thinks they are an expert, because they have no idea what they are talking about"

The reason i suggested to get help from someone who hasnt done just a line of of coke is becuase they dont know anything, thats why i suggested doing more investigation, i do not have the answer, but i am a recovering drug addict with a whole lot more experience than someone who tried it once and thought it was fun....i was trying to give you some helpfull advice on some other outlets on where to find better info, than on this thread...thats all..no offense intended...

The assumption was brought on by the fact you throw around drugs and a love for alcohol frequently on the site. if you have a school report, opinions dont matter. merely facts.

Cocaine's horrid.
It's been 'getting around' where I live, and the effect it has on all the kids that are doing it is horrible. I can't fathom why a person would want to do it at all, any 'harcore' drug at that. I believe a bit of weed here and there isn't all that bad, as long as it's not an everyday thing. But. cocaine and heroine and all that goody. I just can't comprehend why someone would want to do it. . .

Depression?

Feeling of insignificance?

i can see why you would assume such a thing, considering i do tend to talk about my unhealthy love for illicits. and yes, i actually have tried it a time or two, but it didn't rock my world and i'm sticking to my mary-jane. mayeb i had cheap stuff, but i dont really see why anyone would like it...

It was a rude comment, I'll admit. I was a bit testy that day and the comment annoyed me. Sorry about that.

People get into it because of the power over your emotions that it gives you. I was pretty into it for awhile. And it was a mistake. But it gives you a powerful rush that you can't get away from. If you take it once or twice, like the rush, but not enough.. You might be done. But if you keep trying, depend on the rush, a little bit here and then isn't enough.. It never becomes enough. And finally you're in way over your head. It's a drug that tricks your mind, basically. Just like any other drug. You feel like you need that rush to live, to be happy.

Basically, my opinion on cocaine is that.. It tricks your mind to believe you have some form of control over your emotions. When really, you've lost all control in the dependancy.

Ive seen too many people controlled by this stuff... im lucky i didnt like it.

Cocaine is just not worth it.
