Why do you write poems or/and quotes?

Well, my title said it all.

Why do you write poems or/and quotes?

Agree, like it is to get my emotions out . ^.^

Because I enjoy writing, and therefore am better off doing so.

Heh, I write because I can't seem to not write.

Of course, there are some side effects - catharsis of emotion, crystallization of thoughts.... but on the most basic level, I write because to write is to let the world pass through me like it's light, and I'm the lens. It's a natural process ; ).

I..... love double pooooosts.....

I write to help me get thro my life...It helps me live and get out my past and grief...

Simply because I enjoy it and it's the only thing I'm good at anymore. It makes me happy.

I enjoy writing, and it helps me express how I'm feeling at that moment. It really helps me release.

I also love the feeling you get after you complete a poem and you are proud of what you wrote. :]
