Independent women

So many girls on this site i see writing things like 'i cant go on without my boyfriend' and such, and being SO very dependent on their man! i consider myself an independent woman personally... and i happen to know that many guys find that as a great quality in woman! so what do you guys think... do you consider yourselves independent or dependent, and which do you think is better? and guys, which do YOU prefer?

I'm not one of these girls that would threaten to kill themselves because so and so didn't like me. I'd be upset but come on I don't need my boyfriend to, "complete me." like so many others feel they need. I have my life and he has his. I'm not giving up my guy friends for him. I'm not going to go crying because he's talking to someone else.

^^ right? ive been through worse things than a breakup.. and i have survived so far.

I like independancy and dependancy. It's good to know a girl doesnt need someone every single minute. But to need a man's help sometimes is a reassuring quality as well. As long as she'll let me do the same.

I am an independant woman. I think I started being independant ever since I was a child (to some degree). I don't think you should depend on someone for everything. At the end of the day, you don't 'need' anyone. I know I can make it on my own. It just nice to have someone there to help me along the way. =]
