The navy

After hearing my friend talking about joining the navy today, i'm considering signing up when im a senior [2 years]. what is your opinion on the navy/ past experiences, anything? anythinggg???????

I hear that you can get stationed in beautiful places all over the world like Hawaii or nice places in Europe.

^my brother in law got stationed in hawaii from the airforce, and him and my sister HATE it.
but, thats them.

I was in the Marine's and it's very extreme. Day in and day out prepare to be killed and pushed to your absolute limit, and not just physically but mentally too. Being screamed at from distances so close you can almost taste what they had for lunch. It's cool to think you can be stationed in a tropical place but trust me it'll be the hardest thing you've ever done. On the brightside though, if you can make it through the Navy or the Marine's, everything else in life seems pretty easy. GG23

My dad joined the navy about a year ago.
he hated it, they were extremely rude to him because he was hispanic, also they are very bad organizers, messed up all his paperwork and even his name.
but it's your choice.
