Figure out my sexuality.
I think I like girls but I'm having a hard time figuring it out.
And I'm scared to admit I do because most of my family is completely anti homosexuality.
When my grandma found out i support gay marriage I got a lecture on how morally wrong it is.

You shouldn't be thinking of pleasing anyone.
And you shouldn't be worried about how your family will take it.
If you like girls, thats your business;
It shouldn't have to involve your family also.

As to figuring out whether or not you do...

How many people repress their true sexuality, which is what they were born with, not what they chose.. to please their family, friends or co-workers.... when all they are pleased with is an imaginary form of your inner self... if you like girls, like guys, like both, you should be happy with it no matter what people around you think. you will never please everyone, so just try to please yourself.

I would be like those who try and say, figure it out yourself or forget about your family. However, I think you need to reflect inwardly and truly see whether you "yourself" think homosexuality is an abhorrant sin, as many claim it is....

I would tell you to mask what you are truly are from those you feel that may be hurt by it. Hopefully, when you are distant from your family, you can be who you truly are. And when that time comes, you may be confident to tell your family of who you are...Without fear of what they may do...

Hmmm when i first read this i started to wonder if you lived in America because i know alot of america is still very religious, so i wouldnt be suprised if your parents and grand parents to see it as wrong in the UK its only recently been aloud for gay marridges.
I agree with trying it out its probly the easyest way but i have to say you dont truely sus it out until your an adult because of all the hormons and stuff...

Im sure in time your family will accept it, its probly just the shock and the idea of it thats making them against it.
