I made it and they just told us today who the cast was, but she doesn't want to tell us our exact names and everything until our script comes in, just incase the names are different. and i have been googling it all day but i cannot find out much.. and i was asking all of you guys so i can find out sooner, rather than reading it and having to wait. *im not much of a waiter.. lol* any information will be great! thanks everyone! :D |

Omg, i read it in my english class. it is so depressing. this town has a lottery every year. it's purpose is to "pick" a human sacrifice for the crops to come in. the way of picking is puting slips of paper in a box and each male draws one. the one male who draws one with a mark on it then has to have their whole family draw again. then, whoever draws that one with the mark is stoned to death the lottery i guess you are the girl who is sacrificed? lucky you! lol but her name is mrs. hutchinson or something like that. its a really good story, but very depressing. |

I hated it to.. it left me with a sick feeling concidering that these people didn't even think twice about it. Most of them went and were smiling and talked about their chores for a day.. it didn't make them think twice.. so sad! |
