Peaceful tunes wriggle through moonlight
sipping wine into silver, carved cups of delight-
I danced with the flames of nocturnal refrains,
listened to pattering of infernal disdain.

Look into my eyes, the pupils of untamed fire
where the fractures of light form laced choir-
play with the animals that prance inside my heart
where the pale flowers of innocence fell apart.

Longings flirt with charming delusions that sing
through the murky darkness of violin strings-
taste of igniting nectar scatter your illusions
while I drown into the star's sinful fusion.

Pete, as the site has been down i lost track of which rules were for which contests and have just realized i have written non rhyming for one of the titles i reserved. Let me know if you want it changed to rhyme and i shall do so. however if that's fine, i will post them within the next day or so.

There you go again, muttering your fabricated stories
haven't you realized they're falling on deaf ears?
Course not, you're living in your own whimsical fairy land
Where everything is made of sunshine and lollipops

It's so effortless to see through your misrepresentation
Sweetheart, you really must think that I was born yesterday
Wrapped in wolf's clothing, beautiful outside; cunning within
I can easily see the danger lurking in those baby blue eyes

Didn't your mother ever take the time out to teach you
You shouldn't play games with someone who can play better
Weaving yourself up so tightly in those tangled loops
Do you really think you'll loosen them before suffocation?

Tell me sweetheart, does she even have any idea about us
Or have you been stringing us both along all this time?

What's the matter, didn't you realize you'd been caught?

Well now you're about to find out just how true that proverb is

Land Of The Heartless (Rhyme Royal)

Eyes closed in despair, heart left bruised; broken
Countless people having hearts snatched away
Cut in jagged pieces, cruel words spoken
Days once technicolour now shades of grey
Empty expression, no wors left to say
Strange how the one thing we try to protect
Is what countless people come to reject

Rhyme Royal-Consists of 7 lines, each with 10 syllables. Rhyme scheme is ababbcc

Resurrection

Echoing drumbeats of chaos embedded into revolution
follow obsessive flirting with amorphous mistakes-
that's pavement of incubated, fractured resolution
f-ed up in the whole new shining perspective.

Amnesia holds the throne in the lands of soul-keepers
while the maniacs weep over spilled milk;
(and the falsification of personality is even cheaper)
This world is tomb for challenged gravediggers.

Libertines end up fusilladed near fences of barbed wire
and their blood floods the existence of illusive freedom...
Resurrection of reality is being stopped in stifling fire
splattered with mutilated innocence of iced entities.
