Christmas Day

What do you lot do on christmas day.

Over the past years its always been slightly different in my family apart from the fact we got out of bed looked through the stockings and then waited for the parents to slid out of bed so we could be filmed while opening pressies, which each year we have managed to get through them all quicker and quicker last year was 13 min.... o.O this year it wasnt so fast :P and then had christmas dinner either with the family over or us eating then going over for more food o.O (dont know how we managed it) :D

I used to stay at home all day with everyone and just have fun and watch telly in the evening, a family film, but this year (and last year) i spend the day at home and have xmas dinner (I can smell it cooking, lmao) and then off to Marcus's in the evening and stay over there til the day after boxing day as it's open house all day boxing day, lmao.
I can't wait, i'm all giddy today =)

Whats commercialized about spending the day with family and loved ones? lol Thats what xmas is to me.

Christmas eve is when we spend time with family ^-^ only on christmas day or boxing day do my parents parents come round, Christmas is about the gift and haveing a laugh.

The goverment in the Uk (and maybe in other countries i dont know about that though ) wants to make christmas less of a major thing because where ment to be a multi cultural country so they want to make christmas a less bigger deal and introduce the other religions festivals/celebrations which doesnt bother me it will just be kind of weird though.....

We usually get up at around 10, and my dad and step mom come over and we all open presents. this yr it was at 9 though =[ and anyway then we eat breakfast after we open presents. and dad and susie go back to their house until dinner time when they come back over here. but this year my gma isnt cooking, because she doesnt feel like it lol, so we're going out to dinner and so my step mom isnt going with us and theres a lotta arguing because my dad wont go w/ her to her family's house. haha. oh well. and yeah..then that's basically it..

but i hate christmas as well, along with all other holidays. i'm so sick of everyone being like "get me this, buy me that! you dont love me because you wont spend money on me". i dont understand why we need a holiday to buy something for someone. if you want to buy someone something, then ok, do so, but you should be in no way forced to do that. it's just retarded.

Some peple can be very gready and rather self centerd, it comes out the most around the holidays.

My mum had to work this year because shes a rather important person in a hospital o.O shes probly more needed then a doctor lol!!
