I am after peoples' opinions on writing poems to draw attention to different campaigns etc

I'll try and explain myself a bit better LOL

Do you think that writing poems on recent diasters i.e. Tsunami helps bring awareness to that issue?

Do you think these sorts of poems help to raise more funds for different charities?
