Judging in this is going to be a little different. I will give you a selection of titles, when all spots have been filled or the due date arrives all entrants will be asked to vote for their favorite poem, which ever poem you vote for you must also comment on. The top 3 entries will recieve 5 r/c/c's from me on top of their voters comments. So please be prepared to vote and comment if you enter.

Silence Dripping

Defining Me

Translucent chimerical light enwraps around eyelashes
molding sepia images into faceless wax figures,
in the world where spectrum of colors fade,
leaking through already poisoned blood in veins.

Words are sabers, cutting through dreams,
spilling illusions over fields of liquid darkness,
where I stand, absorbing invisible sun rays,
playing with crypts of my twisted attention.

Antique patterns tattoo obscure desires
over pupils, molten emeralds, sources of bitter sorrow;
anticipation flows through tearstained expanses,
infecting deities with mutated ideas, defining me.

Clouds of Golden Sin

Symmetric sounds defeat distances between hearts
pervaded with pulsating, silver tendons;
altered reality functions beneath these feet
mutilating my screams inside of milky trance.
Turn away the mirror... hide broken glass-
conquer me, bend me, collide blood in my veins
again.

Clouds of golden sin spill cynic harmonies...
... and there's nothing left to say, nothing
that will justify our scarlet kiss in front of
the shadowed goddess's face... nothing left-
again.

Toxic Beauty

Worn-out phrases and adjectives corrupt thoughts
implanting insomnia into words of anxiety,
attaching madness to columns on bridged sanity,
waking up to the eyes of a world unknown.

Possibilities open doors of rose-oil, fragrant and illusive,
letting me to peek behind dirt on the sashes
admiring unreachable gardens and ardent stars
spilled over our enigmatic nothingness.

Sprinkle gunpowder over my sparkling horns
and priceless stardust over my broken wings...

Letting Go Of Forever!

I swore your love would last forever
I swore I'd miss you till the end
I swore I'd never let myself cry
I swore my heart was on the mend

I held on to hope, I'd see you again
I awaited your return
Day's turned into nights of pain
People thought I'd never learn

I grasped your picture closely
Wanting it to wrap warm arms around me
Needing that sense of safety
From a mother I would never see

The pain was overwhelming
I knew I needed a change
I wanted to find my own light
Although it all seemed so strange

I set out a new goal to reach
It will be a long endeavor
I needed to give myself a chance
I was letting go of forever

Drinking Time

I need to run away
From all that's real
Escape all the pain
I no longer want to feel

I call it my time
A chance to be alone
It's causing so much hurt
I can only moan

The feeling starts to numb
Its better this way
The pain begins to cease
I laugh at my dismay

I soak up the moments
When everything seems fine
I've chased away the anger
Through my drinking time

Dreams of Reality (MY FAVORITE)

In the distance, a familiar face
The sun shines at his back
A smile spreads, I begin to race
Down a snow covered track

I've waited to long for this
Wanting to be in your arms
Needing your touch, your kiss
Capturing all your charms

I enjoy every minute in your presence
This is one hell of a dream
The moment becomes intense
The passion makes us scream

I refuse to pinch this all away
This can only be the start
You're here now, and here you'll stay
We can't be pulled apart

Tangle ourselves, with no release
Our hands begin to roam
This moment will not cease

The night can't near an end
I'm afraid to wake to soon

Darkness consumes the moonlight glow;
Ending faith of a dreamers hope
A mother sings a lullaby
A Weeping child, a sinners cry

Lost in a world called tomorrow
Darkness consumes the moonlight glow
Today will chant sweet melodies
Whispering sounds of anarchy

A bleeding hand, a bite for free
A dieing man sits patiently

Stillness shadows chaotic trails
Alcohol burns bleeding nails

The Dusty Rose

I sent you a bouquet of the finest lies,
tenth in the row- you claimed,
but my memories counted
smaller amount of depleted, intoxicating scent.

Words buckled into the windows,
showing sights of possibilities
and I raised six suns,
... haven't thought that your eyes craved for the moon.

Symbols mixed-
orchids represent passion
while dandelions highlighted trust
and roses bespoke apologizes.

Once, I transfered a lizard into yourself--
he was crawling carrier of emotions,
but with every moment of split loneliness
he was getting thorns, transforming into hedgehog.

Would you suffocate within this sweetness,
I wonder while I sent another bouquet
but you answered that the dandelions
are intermixed with weeds,
and that those are just bunches of dusty roses.

I am going to be extending the due date, I have had some things come up this week, I will post the new one soon.

Serpentine tongue's enwrapping around laced moments
while three parts of the machinery emit contagion,
with every touch of the teeth on the skin
the air's decomposing into simple unity
of the savor and music.

Parallel with the scull, my mind crashes frames of bones
leaving the body, silently pondering naked heart
which, denuded by inspiration, represented pallet or,
precisely said- a pen [and the blood replaced ink].

Voices guide the hand towards pleasures,
coming from nowhere momentarily creating
pages darkened with devotion
and silhouettes that led battles.
It's like a mysterious figure takes my fingers
into its invisible hands and helps me to pull the strings.

A poison spread through the body;
paralyzing beauty navigate enliven marionettes
while the swirling snake fills the soul
and ravaging content of the bottle
drowns recorded moments into addiction.

The numbers are just piles of ashes
mislaid within black revolutions;
visions collide inside the mind building paths
of mixed art,
there, where the blackness reigns.

Torched swallowed hypocrisy
while the heart of darkness spilled tinted blood
to flow through the veins, searching
for risen life,
there, where the blackness reigns.

Molecules of contingency recolored with ink
ravaged handbooks,
engulfing letters of the bible on their way...
... and the stars fall into the cried oceans,
there, where the blackness reigns.

His eyes are just an illusion of presence
-- in the microworld titans crawl across the sky
satisfying the passion transmitted through
luminous fields within the brain,
there, where the blackness reigns.

Kingdom placed on the palm posses never-ending dawn
and the twilight is just another form of beauty;
obscurity stares at the feast of magpies before it
-- actually sitting inside of its palace--
there, where the blackness reigns.

The world is split in half;
nightmarish, infiltrating harbor of corpses
is just obtrusive suburb
of celestial mimics that formed
dimensions where the blackness reigns.

Shhhh....

Silence drips away your reflection;
Silence drips away the pain
Into puddles of disappointment;
Into puddles that shame your name
Repeated reasons play sorrows songs;
Repeated reasons from day to day
I heard all of your excuse;
I've heard all you had to say

Don't speak another word
for it may leave a trace
Dripping silence opens naive ears;
Dripping silence seals poisoned lips

A voice that whispers viciously;
A voice that is despised-
speaks of empty promises;
speaks of only naked lies.
Dreams turn into liquid memories;
hopes turn into solid doubt
I had once thought I needed you;

Shades of Hope

I'm not sure if you know or not,
But I really do love you a lot.
You still hold a special place in my heart,
And you did, right from the start.

But when she came along and took your breath away,
I was devastated and didn't know what to say.
I spend my nights crying, time after time,
I spent my days lying, saying I was fine.

Little did you know, my heart was crushed inside,
And on that day, a little of me died.
But with her, you look so in love
'Cause you are an angel from above.

I now have to teach my heart to move on,
For, you are now forever gone.
But about one thing I am unsure:
Why it can't be me, and not her.

I promise that I'll never leave you,

Defining Me

I used to be so simple,
So easy to define.
Always used to colour
Inside the thick black lines.

I had the perfect life before
It was torn away.
It's a shame I only see it now,
Instead of yesterday.

Defining me is tough these days,
I don't know who I am.
But with the way I'm feeling,
I couldn't give a damn.

I just want to be happy.
Like it used to be.
I just want to feel better.
I just want to be me.

Taste the truth of my words
feel the sting of my knife
see the darkness in my eyes
as I drink up your life

Taste the truth of my words
for your ending is near
hear the promise when I say
you have no need to fear

the pain will soon be gone
the last thing you'll see
is the faint light of dawn

Drinking Time

We're drinking time
everyday of our lives
you can see it in my face
I can see it in your eyes

that horrible knowledge
only experience can bring
the cold settles inside
and leaves a painful sting

We're drinking time
and learning of the unknown
Seeing kingdoms rise and fall
seeing kings get overthrown

We've seen the wars between nations
the countless children that have died
The weapons being swung
as the victims tried to hide

We're drinking time
We've seen man's evil deeds
how he pleases only himself
and watches as everyone else bleeds

Now it's our time to go
the last bit of blood has been shed
there's nothing left we can do
for the darkness has spread

Silence Dripping

There's a sound to silence,
a nagging noise.
Annoying as the dripping of a faucet,
reminding you that you're alone.
All alone.

Silence is something you can't escape.
Once it has found you, you realize,
realize you have no one left,
realize you can't go back,
realize you made a mistake.

Silence is when the end is near.
When no one cares any longer,
not even yourself.
Grieving your losses.
Forgiving those who have forsaken you.

There's a sound to silence
but do you know what it is?
The echo of your life
dripping into the cup of death.
