The images of death at sea are very visceral here giving a colorful and disturbing feel to this poem. Well done.

My spell check tried to suggest that the word 'splasher' doesn't exist. Such a great word cruelly discarded by the non thinking unemotional machine displaying this great piece. I love all the descriptions used in this, so much detail squashed into every stanza. For a contest piece this is epic. I love line 4 out of all of them, such a play on words and one of the best lines I have seen for a while. You also cannot ignore the sad under current in this piece though. Just bristling under the surface, This is a fantastic effort by Everlasting
