Short Story

We watched in horror as our friend turned the corner and bumped into the serial killer. His eyes blood shot through his twisted and messed up mask, his clothes worn and dirty, Dirty like years that have never been washed or even touched water. Our friend shrieked..then disappeared out of are sight. her screams could still be heard but started to become muffled as if the man was gagging her. Then it stops..it becomes this still darkness. The moon light shines through the broken shutters. Lizzy and me both held each other close in the little stuffy closet which we were hidden. The killer comes around the corner dragging our poor best friend on that unforgiving floor. "How cruel" i thought, His heavy breathing told me that my friend did not go down with out a fight. then he whispered something so low that i could barley hear, "foolish girl" my stomach turned and twisted as i finally heard his deep voice. My eyes shut, as the man glanced toward the closet door. I had a chill go up my spin, then i got goose bumps on my arms. even know my eyes where shut i could still feel his cold, hard, intense eyes staring through the door and straight at me. I moved my hand an made a little scratch sound on the door..i became even more frightened, i heard him stop moving like he heard the sound and listened for another, My tears on my face turned into tiny rivers down my face..i didn't know what to expect next..
