Blood Legend

by Rob   Feb 16, 2015

It is a dark and twisted paradise,
Up there in the shadows of the hills,
Where legends tell the stories,
Of those that night they killed...

Not everyone believes the truth,
But someday they will see,
That all the blood they found that night,
Came from the bodies of the three...

It is inside this darkened forest,
Where their vigilance stands so true,
Submissive to their wicked queen,
Where in the dark they wait for you...

So peaceful in appearance,
When the sun is full and bright,
But when the sun has set,
Is when they make their terror flight...

The moon casts deadly shadows,
And that's when the Ferries play...
Ignorance no resolution,
To what happened there that day...

Confined by lust that flies the skies,
From the tops of all the trees,
Inside this darkened forest,
Where the spirits set them free...

Innocent in their appearance,
This is where you came to die,
In the forest of the Ferries,
Where death means more than life...

Destiny speaks it wishes true,
Where you thought they were your friends,
But now you feel the pain,
As they take you to the end...

In solitude their deed is done,
Death brought you too your fate,
In the darkness they now fly away,
But for you it is just too late...
