Evolution of Darkness

Cynical addictions reside in her soul,
In the mind her happiness has died,,
Spirits control all that she feels,
The causation of all the tears she has cried...

Her soul seems to thrive in this darkened place,
Her eyes like a window to her soul,
It is not a place you would want to play,
Inside her where it is dark and so very cold...

Most close their eyes and fall into sleep,
In the comfort of night in their bed,
But the evil begins when she closes her eyes,
Where it becomes a place that you would dread...

All reality in her world has faded away,
It is inside her the spirits play,
Screams so loud they shatter the mind,
This is how they induce their heartless prey...

The incubus takes her for their pleasure,
That is when their fun seems to start,
Intense pain begins as they violate her,
In ways painfully tearing her apart...

Her body thrashes from side to side,
As they play while she lays in restraints.
Over and over they seduce her,
You can see the fear in her pale white face...

The medications they feed her all have failed,
Her mind is where the dead come to play,
All she knows is the pain of the dark,
Never will she see the light of day...

Tempted by illusions manifested in her mind
That derived from the life that she led,
There is no hope for change or recovery,
Because now it is all inside her head...

A paradox of shattered opinions,
To a destination that seeks the unknown,
Just a teen that tried to fit in,
Caustic nightmares now call her back home...

Evil in the darkness knows no revenge,
They appear in her thoughts as her friends,
Forever now living in darkness,
Her life seems to have come to an end...

Until they seek her again...
