Fall of human worlds

by Shalkan   Jun 26, 2015

Darkness ebbs away from skies seared red with demon fire
Black clad monsters offer children to their massive pyre
Sickly sweet gray tendrils rise from charred black human face
No human eyes live on to see their weeping homelands laid to waste

Bodies helter skelter lying limp upon the smoking earth
Men that fought till deaths embrace reduced to corpses, maimed and burnt
Cooking fires churn with remnants left of soldiers disemboweled
Hot winds carry soft gray ash and demon army howls

Violent trenches scar the land, the heaving earth destroyed
All the light and all the love bound in service to the void
Nothingness consumes the souls of men who fell to demon
Engulf the twisted wreckage of a world soundlessly screaming

Abandoned by the universe to never ending carnage
Reality splits in two vast powers, irreversibly unharnessed
One is pure, illuminates, create the storm of blinding light
The other is terror of unleashed chaos, of nightmares in a world of blight

Invading dreams of it's other half, the worlds of endless suns
Until wasted shells float purposeless through nothing lands of no one
Time itself has ceased and fallen prostrate to the heart of darkness
Prophecy has claimed this end and death the only true catharsis
