Jenny greenteeth

by Gemma

Not my best poem but i love the theme and believe strongly in fairies and the fairy world!

For those of you who don't know; a jenny green teeth is a Yorkshire hag who drowns children. please comment and prove my English teacher wrong!!!

matted hair,
evil stare,
hiding in her evil Laire.

waiting for children to appear,
seeking them out,
smelling their fear.

dragging them into her cave,
no one could manage to save,
the lifeless children lying in their watery graves.

so beware,
watch your step,
and know that where you leap,
small children may endlessly sleep!

please comment !!!! it means a lot! n ill return the favor! thanks! xxx

Well, it definitely is different! I love fairies too, but I've never heard of this story! Very descriptive and I like the format! I think the choppy way it flows adds to the element of the story~Holly
