Broken little pieces

This is a poem that i just wrote and didn't have to think about. It might not be any good, but i would like some feedback. it will be appreciated.

*This is to the one who had my heart*

I will not forget the day we met
The day I fell in love
The day he stole my heart

I thought he was the one
I thought it would last forever
I thought it would never end

When we were together
He had my heart and soul
Even if we were apart
He still had them

He cheated and I still loved him
He lied and I still loved him
He broke my heart and I still loved him

I hear his name and I cry
I hear his name and I remember
I hear his name and I stop breathing

Without him I am hurting
Without him I am crying
Without him I am in pain

He stole my heart
And when he gave it back
It was in broken little pieces
It will never be fixed

Not even duct-tape will work
He was my one and only
He was my true love
Not a moment goes by that I don't think about him

Now he is gone
And still has a piece of my heart
I will love him forever more

He was my Daniel.
