Forget rules

by Lacie   Apr 18, 2008

They say that rules are there to help,
Well i say we can help ourselves.

We made this world slowly grow,
Who's to say what we should know.

If you want rules, by all means take them,
use them, leave out me.

I'll sit here and watch you bend,
Beneath the pressures yet again.

Follow the rules and make your laws,
I'll be here to catch the fall.

But when i do so its my turn,
To make this world slowly burn.

Not by rules, laws or lines,
But simple by how I run my life.

So you fall down,
And take the blame.

And i will slowly feed the flames
