~Fistly, i may be kinda confusing. I had to write it for a application thing for my honers english class. Tell me what you think.~

The Shadows Whisper

My mind races with a thousand thoughts,
About a wondrous, glorious place
This place to which I sought

This place is unknown,
To those without knowing
That the shadows whispers
Will keep growing. And growing

It is said that this place
Is were there is eternal darkness
No birds screeching
No violence a mess

There's whispers when no ones around
In hope of someone finding
This place of less sound

I must find these souls
Who live in the darkness
To help set them free
And I must live with happiness

To what I will find
Is a mystery to me
I may find find an abyss?
A palace?
A never ending sea?

All that that I know
Is when no ones around
Voices are heard.
But cannot be found

These voices are pleading
Vengeful
Angry
Sad

Wait,
I hear something from afar
I run,
Run to the darkness!

The light is fading behind me
I don't care I must find it
I soon get lost in the black sea
All around me voices I hear
But were, oh were
Up ahead!

I run faster
Careful not to trip

Silence now flows all around me
Light appears from no were
But wait, I can see

In front of me stood a ancient door
Covered with designs
And sketchings
I must explore more

I try to open the handle
The voices scream no!
But I insist, and open.
The light goes out. Like a blown out candle

I now see the bodies of the voices
There faces so sad
They mad such bad choices

The same as I had
To explore then unknown
But wait, im not happy or glad?
Were my joyfulness and merriment

Maybe death is the joy that the world speaks of
To get away from this world
To rest in peace, now knowing
Of violence, hatred and love

It is true
This is the land were the light doesn't reach,
The never ending darkness
The land of the shadows whispers
