How it is

Life can find ways to beat you up
But most importantly don't ever give up
I"m one of those people who fight for what I want
Not letting the little things haunt,

Then I ran into this wall
I really wish it wasn't big but small
But sadly there is no answer
Its got a name of cancer,

I fight it and don't let it hurt me
Sometimes theres nothing else I can see
I'm always scared to let people know
But sometimes it shows,

I have this close friend called pain
With it I'm just not the same
Its like a leash on my neck
Its always made me quite a wreck,

But then I have friends to help me
Their like my glasses without them i wouldn't see
Though some leave and go
Never to return to the show,

But then I always have her
Keeping me warm like a sheet of fur
In the darkest days she is my light
I just love her in my sight,

I live in heaven but visit hell
My life is a story with no end to tell
But one day I will have to go
Along with everyone else I know.
