Broken soul, perfect defeat.

Your hand was in my hand,
Your eyes met with mine,
Those deep piercing look you had,
I feel your soft skin rubbing against my hand,
It is because you're letting go,
I try to keep hold of your hand,
But it slides through,
your soft hand, rubbing against mine,
But it's because you're letting go,
My hand then just falls, it hits my thigh.
I look into your eyes,
They're so blurry, why?
But I do know what they are saying,
'Hey I'm sorry, but I'm letting go'
Not a single word spoken,
But this silence speaks so loudly,
Your hand is not in my hand anymore,
But you're still in my heart,
you keep staring at me with those looks,
they are telling me,
'Now I really gotta go'
You take a step back,
and my heart says 'ouch, it hurts, this distance, it hurts'
You take few more steps back,
My knees become so weak,
Arrghh, my chest, it hurts,
I try to be strong,
Then you turn around, you have your back against me,
You start to walk away quickly and efficiently,as If you've done this many times before.
Finally my knees give in,
I'm down on my knees,
with pain so deep,
eyes full of tears,
with a heart full of fear.
It all starts to fade,
You're no longer before my eyes,
I can still see you though.
disappearing, slowly,
my hand, still stretched out,
As if your hand was still in my hand,
I stare at my palm,
It seems so empty,
I then look up,
You're not there,
I start to panic,
I run towards the way you returned,
But you're nowhere to be seen,
And once again,
I'm down on my knees,
with pain so deep,
my eyes, they weep,
broken soul. perfect defeat.
I crawl to a side, to get out of the way,
Uncontrolably weeping,breaking down.
I hear these words,
