Lost in the maze of dark wilderness, I came across a light,
The one who ignited feelings I never knew before and those feelings Which I always fought with all my might,
Like a soothing shadow on a hot burning day, the one who brought calmness of a silent night,
She brought me a gift of peace and love, it was as if I had awakened from a strong hold of madness filled life, like a new born child who takes the first breath of life,
The love she injected in my veins, left me surrendered on an eternal high,
I was on a cloud nine, like a care free bird on a long flight,
Then suddenly the light started to fade, along with the love which had kept me alive,
No valid reasons were given for this cruel punishment which had caused my demise,
I was left wondering, begging for an explanation, tirelessly seeking for an answer,
So I thought that Love is such a strong feeling which convinces people to turn stones into Gods,
So i thought how can her heart stand in the way of my love for her,
Maybe I can make that once lost love to come back to life
but NO amount of care and love which I had given to her brought back any love in her if there was ever one,
She left me in that same old dark wilderness in which i had dwelled for so long,
So many promises we had made to each other and many more dreams we had dreamt together,
Countless moments we spent in Love,
The times we held hands together,Those moments where her lips met with mine,
Those long unbroken stares we shared,
All disappeared with a blink of an eye,
Something or someone changed her mind,
The reasons still unknown to me,and my heart is SCREAMING WHYYYYY?
I guess all I can do is hurt silently,
And patiently wait for my soul to die.
