Isolation

by Radim Spicar   Nov 10, 2008

New day has come, yesterday perhaps, or today.
Time has become but a blur before my eyes
for darkness without end has swallowed me
and spit me out into the jaws of stillness.
Sun still shines, but its rays no longer reach me
as I am lost in the ocean of sorrow, drowning,
struggling for one last breath, last glimpse of hope.
Slowly descending into its darkest depths,
paralyzed, betrayed, thrown away,
I cling to what pain cannot take from me,
to the source of suffering I will not relinquish.
I love you.
