For where has the time gone
It was but yesterday
When we first met

For the past quarter of century
We have been together
It has been just a moment in time

It seems that time has stood still
Since I have been with you
These twenty five years

You truly have been
My best friend, my lover,
And my life long companion

I can still remember
The day we met
Even our first kiss

For I am not old
Just more refined and a bit wiser
Because of you in my life

For you have given me
Everything that I ever needed
In this wonderful life

You stand beside
Help guide me
For you are the forces

That makes our
Life journey together
So magnificent

I would like to say
Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary
To my loving sweet wife

    This is beautiful. It's a love poem, but it's not cliche- it's perfect. 25 years is a long time, and I can only assume that any two people who've been together that long, must truly be in love with one another. :)
