Cold, stormy, weather.
The wind blows your hair like feather.
That's when I remember,
Why do I hate December.

We were thirteen, so young and innocent.
We were in love so magnificent.
Holding hands, joining hearts,
Sharing hugs, and our first kiss.

Our first kiss...do you remember?
How we both trembled,
How we were both scared,
And how we immediately had
A happy smile on our faces,
And bright shining in our eyes.

I don't think you know how I miss,
Those lovely happy days,
Even tough it's been three years,
I still feel like it's been yesterday.

We have now both moved on,
We both have a new love,
But, it is the first love I always remember,
These days remind me of us,
And I may not love you,
But, it is you I miss,
And that's why I hate December.

    I don't think you know how I miss,
    Those lovely happy days,
    Even tough it's been three years,
    I still feel like it's been yesterday.
    ^^ Is the most plain stanza in this piece, yet it is what speaks to me the most. Though I would change been in the third line of it to was, otherwise it doesn't sound right.

    You have described the scene so wonderfully and you really did a nice job of adding emotion in with the details. Your choice of words could have been better, but I do think this was still a nice choice. your flow is missing in some places, but it still is okay. I can't say this is truly worthy of a 5/5 but I was thinking more along the lines of a 4. Good job and please do continue

    Wow I did.nd expect that last part you are
    a excellent writer I see greatest in your word choice stick with your poetry you have
    talent I dont usually read love poems but
    I will def.. read yours. I just know from
    reading this one i will enjoy all of your poems
