The perfect poem is inside of you

by Vera   Jan 7, 2009

About little things we can all write
Meaningless things upon our minds
To say the truth is what makes it hard
To open your heart and soul in front of the mass

What makes a poem a poem itself?
To dig down your deeps, throw it out and share
To clean up your head, spirit and set
Set up a master piece of yourself

Doesn't matter who gets it or who won't get it at all
Your feelings are down the paper, great job, there u go
Poetry allows u to see in addition to feel what's going on
Who cares who's going to judge you, it doesn't matter anymore

We've all been given the gift of expression
We should all use it, no fear, no perfection
Just put fear aside, grab a pen, start to write
Make it great, make it right, make it whatever you want

Get it out, scream out loud
Show the world there's no doubt
What you feel belongs to you
Go make some art...go, go you dude!
