Without You

Walk away and not look back
Let me burn every memory we ever created
Because I fought through the sands of time
And every broken piece, I mended

Now you decide to retreat your hand back
And silently let go
Your eyes don't consist of a single tear
It is unfair, because how could you not let me know

Do you have a smile upon your face now?
As I helplessly drift out to the vast open sea
That tears of blood streak down my face
And you don't even extend a single finger to help grasp me

I scrape away your useless words
I cant help but hate you
Because of you I barely know how to breath now
But yet, why am I still here and waiting too?

Like a movie that is rewind
Somehow, I retrace all our steps alone back wards
And I pretend that you're here all along
I can feel your fingertips in mine as we walk this agonizing road together

But with a wisp of my tiring breath
I look around and I suddenly become the missing child
Nothing makes sense without you
And I cant seem to make myself believe that this will last only for a short while
