Snore Of Moon

by ADEL   Mar 25, 2009

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the willow and the gloomy trees

Branches and timbers sense my sadness

the floating autumn and the raging breeze

Whereon the blossoms I gaze

dead buds of groaning leaves

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the mountains and the rusty hills

Rocks and stones sense my madness

the flooding rivers and the drunk wells

Whereon the valleys I peer

cursed songs of trembling bells

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the oceans and the dusty streams

Iris and robins sense my illness

the rolling waves and the rooted gleams

Whereon the sun I long

glossy bows of gliding dreams

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the rains and the steamy gales

Winters and seas sense my bitterness

the snoozing dolphins and the snoring whales

Whereon the mermaids I glance

nodding frames of burning tails

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the winds and the leaky wings

Angels and queens sense my foolishness

the crackling lily and the bony springs

Whereon the kingdoms I gush

oozing wounds of moaning kings

The birds wonder at the sad look in my eyes

upon the tombs and the foggy graves

frogs and turtles sense my tiredness

the murderous skulls and the dull caves

Whereon the death I point

raving earth of passing slaves

I seem to notice that comparsions of nature to emotions and feelings are used in a lot of your poetry. We get double pleasure, your excellent work and nature. 5/5
