drunk in your rivers and streams

upon the seas of your empires

and the knights of all lights and beams

I am the corpse of all the autumns

dead on your branches and leaves

to your ravines I am the scent

of all your valleys and breeze

upon the hill of your highness

and the height of all mountains and trees

I am the pour of all the roses

thirsty in your deserts and sands

to your map I am the waters

of all your heavens and lands

upon the cold of your loss

and the glove of all warmth and hands

I am the lid of all the blossoms

asleep on your robins and nightingales

to your throat I am the tunes

of all your winds and gales

upon the fog of your oceans

and the kiss of all mermaids and whales

I am the song of all the poets

deaf to your words and rhymes

to your signs I am the slave

of all your marks and mimes

upon the period of your glance

and the tick of all years and times

I am the wound of all the stories

red on your drafts and pages

to your end I am the start

of all your calm and rages

upon the tie of your beauty

and the chain of all rules and cages

I am the tear of all the clouds

blue on your angels and skies

to your sight I am the glimmers
