THE DATING GAME

So you think you can just leave me hanging,
well when i see you, your head ill be banging.
You clearly lied when you said you would call,
and by the way, i hate being called doll.

In you stride paint brush in hand,
in front of the TV you decided to stand.
I am a painter you proudly say,
that great im watching friends, move outta the way.

So this is why you didn't call,
cause i failed to marvel at you paint my wall.
Stop being a child get outta your huff,
even my baby doesn't throw such a cream puff.

So you decided to play a dating game,
why do you have to become such a pain?
What the hell is a 3 day rule,
boy you are beginning to sound like a fool.

Why cant people just say what they mean,
instead of acting like some love sick teen.
Never mind, let it go, ill be fine,
all i need is a big glass of wine.

*Just to point out, not meaning to offend anyone who paints, its just the guy so happened to be a painter. Its hard to find words that rhyme hee*

    It's not hard to find worda that rhyme. It's hard to put them in a line.

    This is a good poem. the rhyme flow is good. i thought it had a steady beat and those are the kind of poems i like to read. it made me laught when you said all you need was a glass of wine. lol. im like that too. good job and keep it up.

    Nice poem. It rhymes really well at some places but others dont. Try to make your poem consistent. I got the message behind the poem. Brilliant write.
