A summer poem

by selene   Aug 16, 2009

Some are poems
most are thoughts
trickling like rainfall
on a summer eve

the dawn rests in
her beauty sleep
to awaken golden rays
a warm day
that whisks the cold

full in bloom are
cherry blossoms
their shadows stretch
below teddy-bear clouds
across the wet, green grass

wishing lips
blow dandelions
while kissing lips
read fairy tale prose
and fairies are not far
