We all should learn to hate

by A M   Oct 6, 2009

We are creatures that consist equally of evil and good
Frequently hiding hatred because it is thought to be rude
But that doesnt eliminate the feeling, doesnt make it vanish
Enough pretending and faking, I am done with that rubbish
So I would say to you "we both should learn to hate!"
Dont you think that would have saved us those long nights of wait?
Dont you think that would have relieved the doubts and worries?
Dont you think that would have erased those tears and stories?
I truly and honestly think "we both should learn to hate!"
If we continuously failed to love, then what is it left to appreciate?
If we couldn't understand, I dont see the point in us being together?
If we couldnt make up our minds, how in earth will we last forever?
Dont act surprised when I tell you "we both should learn to hate!"
It's not like we are crazy about each other, thank god it's not late
It's not like we are the perfect match, obviously not meant to be
Ironically, we were playing hard to catch, yet too blind to see
Open your eyes and read my lips "we both should learn to hate"
Say it, repeat it after me over and over, dont hesitate
May be the soul will finally get convinced it's time to let go
And in my full history, your memory will be a dusty raw
I will try my best, for our sake, to learn to hate
And I promise won't give in to my pathetic fate
You are a careless hunter, but no, I am not your bait
Because sometimes learning to hate somebody like you is an art
Not everybody is able to paint, some eventually miss a part
