Forbidden Lovers

I wish I could find the words
That I want to say to you
I wish I had the courage
To pick up the phone
And call you

But if I did
What would you say to me?
Or better still
Would you even remember me?

When i think of you
A tear wells up in my eye
All those promises
We made to each other

Have just been forgotten
On the journey of forgotten souls
Floating in the sea
Towards the island of forbidden lovers

    Wow! this poem is great, enjoyed reading it, you've got lovely flow and an endings that's even better... matches the tittle and everything fits together...
    it reminded me of a personal experience, of a crush really, not love... but it got to me because of it...
