A Folded Flag Part 2

by Lunabell   Dec 11, 2009

His Blood Stained The Ground
Her Tears Hit His Tags
Silence Was The Only Sound

Her Brother Gone
The War Still Going On
A Pair Of Tags And A Sad Song

On The Casket A Folded Flag
Her Tears Stain The Stars
A Hero Is What She Used To Brag

A Stone In The Ground
A Single Name Engraved
It Matches The Others All Around

He Was One Of Our Boys
One Of The Brave
Who Lived With All The Gun Shots and Noise

So With A Yellow Ribbon In Her Hair
She Walks Away
As The Sound Of The Bugle Blair's

Her Falling Tears
A Folded Flag
The End To All Her Fears
