SACRIFICE

by Brix Ambray   May 26, 2010

I'm going to lift you up,
Even if that would mean I'll break my wings
I'm going to give my mouth,
Even if that would mean I can't speak
Can you imagine?
I can't fly, I can't sing.

I'm going to give my clothes,
Even if that would mean I'll be naked
I'm going to give my eyes,
Even if that would mean I can't see
Can you imagine?
I'm bare, I can't appreciate things.

I'm going to give my pen,
Even if that woud mean I'll be lonely
I'm going to give my nose,
Een if that would mean I can't smell
Can you imagine?
I can't write, I can't breathe.

I'm going to give my world,
Even if that would mean I'll be homeless'
I'm going to give my ears,
Even if that would mean silence
Can you imagine?
I will wander, I can't smell.

I'm ging to give my all,
Even if that would mean I'll be nothing
I'm going to give my skin,
Even if that would mean I don't have privacy
Can you imagine?
I don't have possessions, I can't feel.

I'm going to give up my happiness,
Just to know you'll be happy
I can bear all the darkness just to know you're with the light
Can you imagine?
I'll bleed just to know you're alive.
