Save Me

by InvisiblyHeartless   Aug 5, 2010

Walking down memory lane
Making me tear up silently
Watching; like a gruesome sight
You don't want to see,
But can't stand not to watch.
I see inside my head,
No longer with my eyes externally.
Give me reason to feel with my hands;
Not with my dried up heart.
Take me in, spare me the trip.
Memories are the nightmares I see.
They are a constant rerun,
Trapping me inside my own head.
Shaping who I am now,
They'll never really separate from me.
I wish I could be free of this prison,
Dark and unchanging.
Constant memories bombard me.
That leaves me speaking to my past.
You have the power to bring from this.
You can spare my hurting soul.
Its in your hands, now.
I'm too weak to save myself.
Will you save me?
