Distortion

Through a glass
Pictures distort

Petals drop, frozen in fall
Trees go bare, shaking with cold
Snow floats, sashaying from the heavens
Muse speaks, offering words
Mercy expands, covering failures
Love restores, healing like physicians

Through a glass
Pictures change

People are no longer what you saw
Creatures roam in new ways
Water reverses current subtly
Time ceases to move forward
Rather, seems to move back
Memories expose the true natures
Love destroys slowly
Mercy becomes unknown
Crowds of friends dissolve to failure

Alone
Look
Through a glass
Pictures distort
